    I've never had this problem before with Mince thats why i ask :p Oh well i'm not wasting it.

    I like to save mince till it goes brown as it has a more gamey taste then - it's fine.

    it had 2 days left to go but it turned brown and i just didn't like the look of it. is it really okay?

    i wish i'd read this thread before i threw mine away today :o

    it had 2 days left to go but it turned brown and i just didn't like the look of it. is it really okay?

    Brown is fine - I often buy stewing steak and some parts of it have gone a bit brown, but that is still a perfectly edible stage of meat.
    Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.
