You can buy reduced short dated goods in advance and freeze them until needed. That's what I have done in the past. We have had many BBQ parties where costs have been very reasonable, and very MSE.
LOL - im no snob, cheap 'n' cheerful is my way.......... if its cheap and nice i will have it, no matter where it is from!!!

booker looks a great store miles better than makro if only i new someone who has a store card
im a student so money abit tight but i love having partys and barbeques and stuff and since im the host i feel ive got to provide some drinks at least ..... would someone on this forum be able to place an order on the internet and get it delivered to a different adress ? i would pay them through paypal or something before they order and would give you a little extra for being helpful

Your local pub may have a Bookers card, maybe you could do a deal with them whereas they take you with them on their next trip.
