Your inbuilt firewall will help. Do you use a router to connect to the internet? If so that will offer some additional protection.0

No i've got a modem would you recommend getting a router ?0

Are you on broadband? What modem do you have? I believe that a lot of the cable modems have built in firewalls as well now.
If you are going to connect anymore machines or go wireless then get a router anyway.0 -
Hello,
Would highly recommend a freeware called Spyware blaster - http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html
provides real time protection against spyware, adware, hijackers and all unwanted softwares.0 -
You have got too much protection on, take this analogy; if you put 3 condoms on during sex you would gain 2 extra layers of protection but the pleasure / experience would be less than if you had only one condom on. Strange analogy but if you see where I am cumming from(lol ), back on track now if you have 1 anti-virus and 1 anti-spy ware this adequate, if you have too many applications they will conflict with each other and take up valuable system resources, making the users experience less fun because their processor is busy doing other things and not to mention the extra RAM these additional applications consume.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0
