£105 Charge For Going £20 Overdrawn!!

Options
Hey!

How can they justify this as fair?
On the Wednesday, I went £20 over my limit, on the Friday I put in £100 which brought me back under. I spend enough to keep me under the limit, I made sure I did, then yesterday I get a letter in the post saying I've gone over £100 over the agreed limit. I then check my online statement, the last thing I spent brought me to £247OD...Which is fine because my agreed limit is £250, but above that payment, was: Charges as Notified - £105.

Two things are wrong with this, 1. I didn't get notified, and 2. £105 for going over the limit by £20? I can live with £25-30...But £105?

I can't afford to pay it as I do have other things to pay for.
Is there no way of reclaiming it?

Thanks

Dave

If it was your 1st charge you could try ringing them up and asking them. Im waiting for A&L to let me know how much they are going to charge me. I expect its going to be £40 for going........ (wait for it)........... 98p over. They are going to get a right earfull off me if they do charge me that amount!!!
    Bank charges reclaimed: HSBC £1990

    2007 Competition Challenge: Target £150
So far...£373.48 (MS Office 2007 Professional Edition) and a rizla tin

I smell roses, but all I hear is flies
