YES!!! It surprised me at first that I was actually looking for things to organise, tidy up or improve, and enjoying doing it.
I think that as we take control of our money we free up time & energy to take control of everything else. It's a great feeling :j :j :j

Today I have finished the washing, doing 1 tumble load .

Ironing this afternoon will mean that we all have clean clothes for the whole week. (I realise we have far too many clothes now I am permanently on top of the laundry cycle)

Will feed the family form the menu plan, everything is 'in stock'

I have tidied the kitchen so that nothing gets left to waste

    Must finish the mending :o

Did my quidco clicks and Pigsback comps

OH I tried to submit a reply to this before but I think my pc ate it up:D
I think you are right about the freeing up energy especially mental energy. When I was burying my head in the sand, not opening bills, etc the stress and depression zapped all my energy and I let so much slide and I just didn't care.
Now I have got my financial affairs in some kind of order....ok I'm a long hauler with 7years realistically to clear all my debts.....I can now focus on other areas to put in order.
One small example is with the house. I will not be able to afford new furniture etc for yonks so now I focus on keeping the house in as good a condition as poss, keeping furniture in as good nick as I can and making the best of what I've got.:j
My current obsession is looking for suitable pots of paints at car boot/jumble sales etc and also looking for cheap but in good condition bits of furniture, especially bookcases, that will enhance what I already have:D
This forum I'm sure is a big help to all us in achieving these little but important goals:T :T

unfortnately i have to but a mother and baby magazine for some uni work so that will be something, but i will be buying the cheapest.

it's a shame that i don't know any one here who is preggers so i could borrow onr for the day really... (i suppose i could stand in the shop and read one but the shop keeoer is well fit, and i don't want him to think i'm pregnant as then he may never ask me out, i live in hope ;))

but yesterday i did get £30 of my sister for babysitting so it'll sort of be free...

Why don't you put a post on freecycle incase someone has one lying around? Does it have to be the recent one? If not i'm sure you'll be able to get one somewhere. What about writing to the magazine company asking for a free copy? Always worth a try - it can be your DFW aim for the week

    checked online banking
put my slow cooker on at 8:30am with my huge roast in it that I got at Sommerfield the other night:T

done a search for my breadmaker vis the search engines on Quidco so made money on that
will cash in my lottery winnings from last night and will put straight into tubs
No washing machine, dryer or heating on today
requested my money be paid from Play - £3.80

I'm away out to enjoy the sun - How hot is it :T ready now......

Today is usually a NSD for me but,
Yesterday I bought some jeans-this was a necessity as all my jeans have worn out over the last few months. Had to take them back today as they were the wrong size. Managed to get two pairs for the price of the jeans I bought yesterday BUT bought a third pair!! Mind you if they last as long as the others I've just replaced (some I've had for over ten years) then I shan't complain.

Rest of day will be in the garden, doing the ironing for OH and cooking the tea.
