Cancelling a Flight

I am booked to fly to New York in July with Zoom Airlines and I have noticed that they are now offering flights at a much lower cost than the cost when I booked. Does anyone have any advice as to how to cancel my booking without being penalised or to upgrade my ticket to get a better deal
