  • First 3 years were fine (finance applications took less than a week), but in the 4th the SLC had a new computer system, which messed up big-time and took over 2 months to process my application.
  • I sailed through the UCAS system with no problems, but with my finance application, my Loan Request Form was lost in the post, and I didn't know until it was almost the date after which my loan would incur a delay. Thankfully I got a letter from the SLC this morning telling me that all is fine and I'll get my money on time later this month.
  • Both went smoothly, well sort of.

I processed my UCAS as early as i could, and all went well.

But when i went to do my finance (i again did that before sumemr) but when receiving the details they had placed the wrong College details on the one form. i.e. they said i was going to one college, but i am infact going to another one. However on another form i received from my LEA they stated the right college. So i dont think that it will make much difference, however when i tried to ring them, and managing to worm my way through their nasty automated system (that has so many deadends) i got through to someone, and they really didnt care.

So hopefully all should go well.

I have done all my things in good time, and everything is automated, it should all go well! Fingers crossed
