Doesn't matter either way, if you are using WEP it can be cracked in 30 seconds whatever so it is a pretty pointless debate for WEP isn't it?

i have set up the simple wep and the wep on the laptop. i can see that the router is protected. in this state i cannot get connection to my broadband router. i need to disable to link to the able to get to the web. i thank to you all and from what you have said i will go via the more succured password later.
i think i need to prove the wep which does not work so i donot understand the problem


i am sorry for for my question again but i hope i have cleared up the problem which needs to be sorted out

don't understand..... if you still need help, start by posting your router model.

if wep isn't working, use wpa.
