how do I find out which credit cards I still have?

I know that sounds daft so I'll explain! A few years ago (pre lbm) I had a lot of credit cards, they were paid off with a consolidation loan ( dont do it) which I am still paying . At the time I didnt cancel the cards just cut them up. Now I want to get shot of them completely but as I am not sent statements any longer I can't remember which companies they were with. How do I find this out? Is a credit report the only way coz last time I tried to get mine they wanted my ex husbands current address and I have no idea where he is ( which is usually a bonus LOL)
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Check bank statements, if you dont have any later ones ask bank to send you some.
  • Get your credit reference file from Experian, Equifax and CallCredit - it will list all debts from the last 6 years, is generally a good idea to do this from time to time anyway to make sure everything is in order.

You can sign up for free trials through sites like Quidco (and get paid for it, just don't forget to cancel it) or you can send £2 and a letter requesting (will post a link to details in a second)

EDIT: Link I was waffling about
