Sat Nav Help Needed

Hi

We have a TomTom 520T, we wondered if it is possible to drive with the sat nav in but no destination planned - we cant clear the route history? we were just after being able to drive along but without it thinking we are gonig anywhere in particular - is there anyway of doing this?

Click on the screen to get to the menus, the click the arrow to get to the next screen (bottom right), then again, then it is in the top right.

"Clear route". Big red cross through an arrow.

thanks, ill go have a go at that in a bit - my parents were asking how to do it, I was all for just going along but having the sound switched off - makes no difference to me whether it thinks I am going somewhere or not:D oldies:D

I have the same satnav on my desk now and I've just switched it on to see exactly where the right button is!


The only reason i have it on sound with no route programmed in is for speed cameras, sorry, i mean safety cameras! :cheesy:

i looked and looked and looked earlier but couldnt work it out, even asked google and had a quick scan of the manual online

off to sort now:D
