Transplantation stategy for injury

Hi there i was wondering if someone can point in the right direction, I'm in a tad confused state. Im writing about the transplantation strategy for embryonic stem cells in spinal cord injury but cant seem to find a diagram that helps explain Ive found a few on how cardiomycocytes may potentially be derived and how they are transplantated as well as for neurons for parkinson's disease but just my luck nothing on spinal cord injury and how scientists would potentially carry out transplantation in humans. Therefore I was thinking of just discussing a protocol that has been used by researchers in experiments (invloving rodent models of SCI) Can anyone suggest whether this is appropriate to do so? Or make any further suggestions? Any comments would be much appreciated.

Probably better on a doctor's forum or medically specific forum eg http://www.doctorslounge.com/forums/ ( just register and ask i'm sure they'ld be happy to help) or use a database like pubmed and medline that may be able to help

if you arent sure about the human protocols, although im not sure there are any at the minute but dont quote me on that, murine model experiments are the way to go. the information on that will likely be more comprehensive too. sciencedirect.com is the site i use for finding papers, you may find a diagram inside a relevant paper but make sure it is referenced, or do your own diagram from it in paint then there are no copyright issues if it is for your final year project.hope that helps, not very specific though sorry.
