Tax Credits - Help needed

Hi
Can somebody give me some advice, I am seperating from my husband. I am moving into a rented flat with my 3 year old daughter next week and I need to apply for Tax Credits to help pay for everything. Do I qualify as a single person for Tax Credits even though I will still be married and not legally seperated?
I'm starting to panic that I won't get the money I need to survive.

Yes - you will be a single parent from the day you separate. Just call up the Helpline on 0845 300 3900 & they will stop any joint claim you may have & take details from you for a new single person's claim. This should speed things up for you. Good luck with everything. Big higs x0
