my mum and dad have just bought their first PC. They are with sky we have set up a sky email, a msn email and a yahoo email and cannot get into any of them. We get as far as logging in and thats it, it just returns to the log in screen. I can log into them on my laptop fine so I presume its something fairly easy to correct but i don't know. They are running mcafee.
Any help please.:D

Thanks I'll try that. Also he wants to install his new printer and he has to disable his mcafee security would you know how to do this. I'm not very good with the techie stuff either as long as I can get on here and the news I'm happy.0

Not sure about McAfee but usually right click on the icon in the system tray and disable or exit. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

As an aside, they may have set up Sky email, but is it tied to the broadband service? If so, I'd recommend using a general web-based one instead, e.g. the yahoo one.
This makes it easier when they decide to change broadband providers. Please use OpenDocument (ISO 26300) format (.odt - .ods - .odp - .odg) for attachments0
