2 current account and 2 credit card with same bank?

Hi, just wonder can i having 2 current account and 2 credit card with same bank? i currently with lloyds TSB. thanks

    Well, I do have two current accounts with Abbey (because their idea of an upgrade was to open a second account!) and do have 2 credit cards with them (the original - MBNA, I think - and the Santender one).

    Probably no problem in getting a second current account with any bank as long as you explain why you would find two a good option for you. Not so sure about the credit card though.

    You can have 2 of each yes.

    As for the credit cards you will have to have 1 visa and 1 mastercard.

    any bank, they will not let you have more than 1 the same, no point really anyway.

    I've had two LTSB Platinum Mastercards running simultaneously, and currently have two Halifax Mastercards (although not identical offerings).

    Hi YB, they offer me duo card and i accepted, now i am still using my platinum card, they haven't closed it platinum yet since i still waiting the post. just wonder can i ask them to keep the platinum card and duo card as well ?

    It depends on the bank's terms and conditions. I used to have to Barclays current accounts (one in my name and a joint account). I now use A&L whose t&cs state that a client can have only one.

    Yes, they would do this for you and split your credit limit between the 2 (or 3! in the case of duo! don't ask me to explain:confused: )

    You would not get double the credit limit. Your credit limit would be split between the Platinum Mastercard account and the Airmiles Duo account.
