digital camera software...

hi,

i have a REALLY old digi cam and think in a moment of madness i removed the software from my PC to get the pics off it...

i know i have taken off pics at some point as they are on my PC and must be from about Oct time... so it was recently that my madness occured...

if any one could help me with as link or instuctions of where to get these preferably for free i would be really greatful, as paying anything would be madness as it is frankly a piece of junk and i will have to upgrade at some point (just not soon :rolleyes:)

it's a Premier DC2302, and 2.0 mega pixels...

and general instrustions of how to get them off would be good, although it can't be rocket science as i've done it before, and by the look of the pics i was drunk... (one of them is of my wheelie bin, because it's apparantly special enough to have it's photo taken???)

You should not need any software. Does the camera not show up as an external device in My Computer/Explorer when connected and powered up?

Picasa may help you if you want some basic editing as well

when i plug in the camera, i get a little 'thing' in the bottom right side of my pc taht says sometging about a USB device (sorry at my sisters house, and had wine)...

then it has a pop up box that tries to install from a CD that iosn't inserted, and makes me click next... then it tells me the CD drive i s empty (which icould have told it, but it just won't listen) then i don't know how to make it work.

i really have no idea how i made it work before:rolleyes: but i now want to sell some stuff on ebay so i need to figure it out...

the wine isn't helping...:drool:

download them, unrar to a folder on the desktop and click the exe. file (after letting your antiviral check it, of course).

ok i get the bit where i click on the link, what is UNRAR???
and my antivirus checking them, how will that happen do i need to tell it to? or is it a clever bunny and will it just do it???

It's like Win zip, only the same, some people use it to show how clever they are and use a different compressor program.... Its only 175k, I have it here let me know where to send it to, email??

Download this program here to open the downloaded RAR file.

Your anti-virus should not be a problem. Are you sure that when you connect the camera to the PC that it does not show in Explorer?
