Hi,
Does anyone know if I will be able to just pay to go in the lounge at Chicago airport, I have layover there and would rather book it at the time, than now in case my flight is delayed,
thanks

just found this, but generally ring the airline you are flying with and ask them if they have an offer whereby you can pay

Anyone can use AAs lounge at Chicago at a cost of $50 for the first person-if there's two of you it's $75 and if there's three it's $100 but the airport is HUGE so it depends which airline you are flying onwards with as you want *their* lounge. You don't need to book.
£50 for UA ??? Ouch -AA at Heathrow is $50 and in the same terminal-big difference if it's like for like (free booze, snacks, wifi ,local calls etc)
Oh free booze at Heathrow not Chicago btw.
Just to add if you are flying AA the $50 is for the whole day-so it would cover you for the lounges both at Heathrow and Chicago for one charge.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -

samuel you will have to collect your bags and go through customs, so go land side so yes you can leave, you should be able to drop your bags right off but you will then have to go and go back through security etc as this will be your first port of entry in the country...you should be checked in though so if you chose to leave the airport should have checked in bags and be checked in so just go through security and to the gate.0
