Which Haven's Best: Allhallows, Orchards, Wild Duck, Golden Sands?

We have a limited budget hence we can only afford one of these four Haven sites. We can't choose between them and would like to hear views from anyone who has been to any of them.

We have two six-year-olds, a baby and the gradnparents will be coming too but we're not too fussed about evening entertainment. Daytime activities on and off-site would be the most important criteria for deciding where to go. I look forward to hearing any views for or against these four sites.

Don't know but don't forget you can use Tesco vouchers for four x value with Haven
My opinions are purely my own act on them at your own risk

I have been to Wild Duck 3 times now and actually have just returned from there yesterday. It is not a full on entertainment site so if you are looking to keep the kids busy all day this isnt the one for you. Saying that though there are some activities such as an exercise club in the morning. Not sure what happens as I didnt go but this is for kids. Then around 11am they have something for the kids such as exploring the site, making things and musical stuff etc. That is about it for entertainment until 6.15pm when the kids stuff starts again with meet and greet and a show for the kids to watch. If you kids stay up later then they have stuff later too but my little one is only 3 so he went to bed after the show.

Its is a lovely quiet site and there are 2 indoor pools, one large and one small for the little ones. There is a small outdoor fun park where the rides are £1.50 each and there is a train, trampolines, bouncy castle and large inflatable slide. There is also an amusements arcade and there are a couple of outdoor play areas.

About 20 minutes away from the site is a place called Pettitts Animal Park which is fantastic for little ones. There are the usual farm animals and a petting area, a large outdoor play area, slides of all sizes, fairground rides, bouncy castle, clown shows, train etc and these are all included in the price. There is currently a BOGOF voucher online which we used and if you buy the rest of the tickets you need at Wild Duck reception you will save £2 per person so it will only be £6.95 to get in per person. You can also return another day for half price.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the replies guys. I just found this site which is a useful resource for reviews of holiday venues.

    http://www.holidaywatchdog.com

On the strength of the reviews there and your post carolwat I think I'm going to book the Wild Duck. Cheers again.

When we went down that area we stayed at Broadland Sands and booked it via ebay, we liked that site. Its not a haven site tho.
Id also highly reccomend Pettits as the kids will love it, the last two times weve been in the area we went. Make sure you take a picnic if you go as there are plenty of grassed areas/benches.
