    Thanks to you all for your comments. No decision made yet so I can take your views into consideration. I would like to say dunstonh, that while I am totally inexperienced when it comes to share funds I have considerable experience in life and sorting out my finances. Enough to know it's the FAs who make most of the naff decisions.

    Unfortunately that experience will not help you to choose suitable funds for investment. I have 35 years experience of sorting out my finances but I wouldn't have a clue which funds offer potential.
    Enough to know it's the FAs who make most of the naff decisions.

    Don't shoot the messenger although Dunstonh isn't an FA anyway, he's an IFA. Better to be told now that the fund isn't a good one and others on here agreed with him.

    By the way FAs are attached to banks and have very little investment knowledge and probably would recommend the fund you have chosen.
