I need a VHS player

I have loads of old recorded Videos I want to transfer to dvd (I dunno if this info helps but the DVD recorder I am using is a Panasonic DMREX77) but my old VHS player has finally died

I need a good VHS player at a reasonable price and one that can play old video tapes well. Can anyone recommend a good VHS player and where to purchase it from?

You won't find one on the high street. Your best bet is ebay, your local ad paper or a car boot sale I suspect!

You can still get the combo machines which record one to the other, but not a standalone VHS.

Bigpockets.co.uk are doing one for £14.95. That's the good news. The bad news is that a little while ago it was £7.50! Might be worth a look, not much to lose...

I've not used a VCR for about 7 years, so the quality seemed terrible! I'm sure that was just because we used 15 year old tapes in it

It was easy to use and hook up.. not much else to say really, it was ok
