clearing CC Bal monthly by Direct Debit

I have just found another way Natwest pay for the champers at the shareholders meeting. if you clear your balance each month by direct debit, the funds are taken 10 yes TEN days before due date. AS I have an offset Mortgage and pay my Company expenses through my credit card, this has a considerable affect on my average balance for Off set purposes. Do all Credit card co do the same

Do you Bank with Natwest as well?
I bank with First Direct have an offset mortgage and have one of their Credit Cards.With FD I can have the payment leave my Account on the CC payment due date and arrive same day and hence not lose interest.Cheers
