Help Please with High APR

Hi,

I've been a bit silly with my spending and used my credit card for cash withdrawals. Halifax have said that they will not reduce the APR of 20 odd percent. Shall I continue to ask them to reduce it?

Transferring to a 0% card is not an option due to bad credit.

At this rate the interest is bigger than what I can pay off.

Any advice on how I should deal with Halifax would be much appreciated.

Regards

I very much doubt Halifax will reduce the interest rate you are paying. The APR for cash withdrawls are nearly always higher than purchases and they were clearly laid out when you signed up to the credit card.

I dont think they will do anything to be honest. Is it alot of money or is it something you can pay back by cutting your bills and diverting money to it?
