Im moving into a new house with their satellite dish still attached to the wall im looking for a cheap sky box to connect it up to the signal.
First question where can i buy a cheap one (offical sites prices over 100 for that i could go freeview)
Second Question if i connected a box, what channels could i receive without having a viewing card
Third and Final Question do i need a viewing card if i dont want sports or anything else ?
Thanks in advance for any responses

Q1. Buy a cheap one from ebay - Panasonic, Pace are good ones. Cost about £25-
£40.
Q2. Go to this website and it will tell you what chanels are free on Sky:
http://en.kingofsat.net/
Q3.No you dont need a card if you are not watching paid chanels like sports and movies. You only need if you want to get Ch 4/5.Without the card you will only get the free to air channels
Hope this helps. no doubt there will probally more response to your post giving you other options0 -
