Tiling kitchen floor

We had our kitchen fitted in May and the fitter did the wall tiling himself and only charged £100 for tiling.
He was'nt able to do floor tiling and since then we can't seem to find anyone and the lino has remained!
I've just been ringing the tilers listed in the Yellow pages and either no one turns up or their quote doesnt seem reasonable.
The quotes have been in the region of £290 & £320 including grout but not tiles.
I'm not sure about the measurements though was told I'd need tiles for 11 square metre.
Is this reasonable?

I suppose it depends on area, but tilers seem to charge anything from 20 -35 sq metre, so those quotes may not sound too bad!0
