I may just be unlucky, but found this a bit strange. Uploaded a load of photos to their photo application and ordered a number of prints last Tuesday. Credit card charged and all seemed ok. Yesterday called them as I had not received my order (thought it was strange as photo companies are usually really quick in my experience) and they had no record of me or my order. Tried address's, names, delivery address etc etc but no record. At this point I logged onto my online banking as I was starting to think i was losing my marbles...you know the feeling dont yah....did i actually order these prints etc etc.

Anyhows, there it was a credit card charge from directfoto. Still they couldnt find me or my order despite having charged my credit card....THEN all of a sudden....they find me and my order, state that they had been having problems and refund my card.

Now, before anyone starts screaming....They have refunded my card and it was only a couple of quid.....but i found it strange that it took so long for them to find any reference of my order (if indeed they did). Im only posting this for 2 reasons.......one, dont let stuff lie if you dont get what you ordered, even if it is only a small amount of cash, secondly in the hope that it was a genuine one of mistake, I was unlucky and no one else has experienced the same.

I bought a christmas present from this company.
I found out a couple of months later it never showed up.
The person I bought a present for , wasnt expecting a present.
Good job really.
Directfoto took money from my credit card though.
But I found out too late to get money back via credit card.

The phone number given always says
"our phones are closed at the moment, please ring back ....day"

... insert a day in a few days time

Definite rip off company :mad:
