I know this has been posted before but with none of the search engines finding ANYTHING under Asda and having trawled many pages - I need to ask again (sorry) Does Asda accept money off coupons/vouchers for products they sell even though you don't buy them like Tesco do??? I don't normally shop at Asda but they are the only place that sells the thing I want so would obviously like to save some money
Thanks
**EDIT** Also do Asda have a price match policy??
Thanks

Asda policy does vary widely but the best options they offer are 3 of each coupon no limit to value so try for thatKazzea wrote:I know this has been posted before but with none of the search engines finding ANYTHING under Asda and having trawled many pages - I need to ask again (sorry) Does Asda accept money off coupons/vouchers for products they sell even though you don't buy them like Tesco do??? My local Tesco takes more than 10% - it depends on who you get at the tills
I was just wondering if Asda did the same - obviously what they accept will again vary as to who is serving you. I just wasn't sure if they offered the same policy of allowing the use of the vouchers or not.0 -

Yes, they will also match special offers (BOGOF, 3 for 2 etc.) from other supermarkets.0 -

My Asda takes any coupon as long as they sell the item, not sure if there is a limit but I think providing you use common sense e.g. don't try to pay for most of your shopping with vouchers that they would be ok.
They offer a price match policy in that if you take in any flyer or ad for a product that they stock, they will match the price if you actually buy the product.
Not sure if this helps or not but I hope so....Grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can and the wisdom to know it's me"0 -
The last five or six times I've tried, they have had a very cler 10% policy. They will take Somerfield and Tesco vouchers though, eg the ones in the magazines.0

I phoned Asda customer services only a few days ago with this question...
The general rule is identical to TESCO - ie yes they will - BUT there IS a 10% maximum and EVERYTHING is at the managers discretion!
Obviously, if you have bought the product there's no problem.
They will also - as a previous poster said - accept Tesco/Sainsbury printed vouchers - but only if you buy the product.Life should be a little nuts; otherwise it's just a bunch of Thursdays strung together.0 -

Our local Asda won't take any vouchers unless you have bought the item.
It seems to vary from store to store and at manager's discretion.
Only thing is to try it.0 -
in my local asda i used tesco magazine vouchers with out buying the prouct.
i think it just depends who you get on the till.
i always just hand a few over if they take them great, if not i just take them back and try next time.0
