Yipee! Ebico on the 29th - bit of advice please

We've received a change over date from Southern of the 29th April, I've phoned through our meter readings as requested. A while back the lady at Ebico told me that they handle everything and will inform our old supplier (BG), which was confirmed by the lady that I gave the readings to at Southern when she told me "your old supplier will receive those readings from us on the 29th so that they can calculate and send you a final bill". When I got home today I find that BG have sent us a letter asking us to phone them and give them the meter readings, what's the best thing to do? Ring BG or just leave it to Southern to do as they have told me they would do

I must say that everyone I've had dealings with at both Ebico and Southern has been fantastic and it comes as no surprise that BG are all over us like a rash now that we're leaving them. We've had letters and phone calls asking us to stay, in fact the only thing that they haven't done is e-mail but I'm sure that's because they don't know how to as I've never had a reply to any e-mail that I've sent to them.

I wouldn't bother phoning Bgas as there really is no need (unless you really really want to) they will probably just want you to call and try to persuade you to go back to them

You could ring Alk on an 0800 number...then keep 'em waiting, "just a minute, somebody at the door"

Thanks for link, but no it is not me, must be an imposter :eek: I used to have no bother with this alias a few years ago, but now its getting popular Looks a good site though.
