i am looking for a dvd writer (external,usb) advice please

i am after buying a dvd writer an external one that uses usb, there are so many out there , can anybody offer some advice on the best model, with the best software to run it,also i have read that some burn the pictures onto the disks and do other things etc, i have a lot of blank dvd+ disks ,so a writer that uses + or + and - would be ideal

some i have heard that you get nero other i see you get roxio ect

also if anybody knows where there are some good ones on sale would be even better

    Ok, something like this is going to do everything you want it to, except putting pictures on discs but at £35 I really think it's a good deal.

    "Putting pictures onto discs" will basically be Lightscribe but I'm not really sure it's worth it, you also need lightscribe compatible discs so your existing discs will not be able to have the writing/pictures burned in.
