Nokia Phone (old type) not displaying caller name

Hi - I backed up my contacts from the SIM card onto my Nokia's phone memory the other day and ever since then whenever I get a text it only displays the phone number of the caller, rather than the caller's name like it did before. Does anyone know how I can set it back so it displays the caller's name instead? Its really annoying as I don't know who is texting me!!!

Check you phone book entries as it sound like you have duplicates.:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
cheers - that is probably it as I don't think I deleted them off my sim card. If I delete them off my sim will the names still be stored on the phone memory?0
