The British Bankers Association (BBA) can help you to trace forgotten or dormant bank accounts.
Here's a link to their website: http://www.bba.org.uk/bba/jsp/polopoly.jsp?d=103. Under the BBA leaflets section, you should find a dormant bank accounts form.
Tracking a dormant building society account can sometimes be tricky because many of them have merged in recent years. The Building Societies Association (BSA) can help you to trace a building society. Here's a link to their webpage: http://www.bsa.org.uk/
The Channel 4 website also offers some useful information regarding tracing lost fortunes. Here's the link: http://www.channel4.com/4money/banking/forgotten_fortunes_page4.htmlPlease call me 'Kazza'.0 -
