    Some info here:http://nobudgettravel.wordpress.com/2007/11/13/warning-ryanair-online-check-in/
You can also fax refund requests to Ireland +353 1 812 1230 You must include the following: Confirmation Number (e.g. ABC123), Full Flight Details - date/routes, Passenger Names
RyanAir further requested a copy of the non-EU passport’s front page.

just don't fly ryanair, it's a horrible airline.

I've been using them for nearly 4 years and I've never had a problem with them. They've got me to where I want to go without crashing and they are cheap for me to use frequently (6+ times a year.)
  • I've been through this.

Basically if you only carry hand luggage you are either eligble for online check in or a refund if you can't check in online, which are those from outside the EEA.

All you need to do is request it by faxing the Ryan-air customer service centre (a fax for customer service - what a joke) with your itinery and a copy of your passport(s). If you travel with someone who has checked luggage - not sure, but I reckon Ryan T a*** air will have that covered!

It is the worst rip off going around but the more people that apply for the refund the better I think.

Just say one of you (eg. Ryan Smith) has luggage, so please refund for the rest of us (eg. Ray Smith, Ronan Smith & Rene Smith).
    Worked fine for me;)

Hmmm what gets me is I do not understand why I cant check my kids in online and the whole family (7 of us) has to pay for check in EVEN when we only have hand luggage.

Just flew from Poitiers France to Stanstead and back, cost 45€ for two, great. We booked in on line flying from Poitiers but could not do it for the return. So took a print of the screen message saying on-line booking not available at this time, presented this to check-in and did not pay the extra. Also no-one checked our bags for weight or size at Poitiers or Stanstead.

Why not fax them to ask if you could get a refund for the 6 of you? (ie only one adult paying the fee).
