No BT Fee with Intelligent Finance

I have just applied for a C/C with Inteligent Finance -
http://www.if.com/creditcard/creditcard_home.asp.
They have 0% for 9 months on BT and there is no BT fee.
On their summary box when you start the application process it states:
Charges - Balance Transfer Fee N/A
I also telephoned them to make sure and they confirmed there is no BT fee.
The process was very simple and took a couple of minutes at the end of which I was immediately approved and my card limit advised.
This beats waiting 3 weeks with no news from Virgin only to be told when I called them that as I have an MBNA card I was not eligible.
I hope that I am not missing something major here as it all seemed too easy considering everyone else is now charging for balance transfers.

You have suffered an unnecessary wasted credit search (which will be on your file for 12 months from the date you applied) which will be visible to other future lenders when you next apply for credit.ianfao wrote:This beats waiting 3 weeks with no news from Virgin only to be told when I called them that as I have an MBNA card I was not eligible.
To help stop this happening again, you can check out a list of "who owns who" at https://www.stoozing.com/cards.htm
I know you are generalising, but just to say there are still several cards that don't charge for BT's - but for how much longer?ianfao wrote:...everyone else is now charging for balance transfers.0 -
That's why I was peeved off with Virgin.
I couldn't find anyone else offering a free Bty but maybe we could add them here if we know of any. Like you say, how long for?0 -
