Currys ~ who is right?

Check the T&Cs of the return policy, you don't want your mom to find out she can't return it if that is the case.
Now LG should be responsible for the garanty but as its a broken "thingy" lol, then it is Curry's who needs to sort it, but be aware, they can say you broke it too.
Hope your mom solves this soon but be prepare to fight for it, Good Luck!!0 -

Hello my daughter works in currys and says with damaged goods on delivery you have 28 days to return not 7 but you must report the damage within 7. ALso ask LG for an uplift number to take into the store or ask the store to do that for you, you will need the serial number which on the item. If we can be anymore help please ask2008 wins

yes if they wont contact LG on your behalf then you have a reasonable period of time to reject the machine for being faulty.
Which is somewhere around 28 days but not specific to 28 days.
Stick 2 fingers up to Currys they are not very good."Save the cheerleader - Save the world"0 -

Mum had 7 days to return it, even if it wasn't damaged.
The store won't do anything, LG said it is down to the store, which it is.
Currys are just getting worse and worse and I certainly won't buy from them ever again.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
I am always amazed when reading stories like this how any of the DSG group are still in business. They have crap customer service, the staff on the whole have no idea what they are talking about and all they want to do is just to push warranties on you, and they are soooooo overpriced on anything I have ever looked at.
But apparently none of this bothers the general british buying public. When did we turn into a nation of mugs?0
