Restricted Delivery

I ordered an excerciser (Carl Lewis CEA001) from Woolworths. Rang local store to see if they could obtain item for collection. At first they said yes but at the last moment said no, home delivery only. I advised would need Saturday delivery and was told to simply ring and re-arrange when card came through door.

When card arrived I rang delivery company who said they only delivered Mon to Friday 08.00 to 18.00. As I am a working girl this was of no use to me so I contacted Woolworths who said there was nothing they can do. They finally confirmed today I have been refunded in full.

Went on internet and found one on Amazon which had been reduced by £100 (was full price when I odered from Woolies) which is £20 cheaper than Woolies so am having delivered to office and will pay £10 taxi fare (don't drive and item very large & heavy).

With customer service like that i don't suppose they'll be able to afford the likes of Jackie Chan for much longer in their advertising campaign!
What a joke that delivery is only during working hours Mon-Fri!!:mad:
Glad you got it sorted and took your business elsewhere. Voting with your feet is about the only way some larger retailers get the message these days.

I would say 90% of home deliverys are the same timeframe unless you wish to pay a premium for delivery
