All,
The XP does not load up on normal mode. It gets to the XP screen with the blue bar moving, but nothing happens afterwards. It just stays on that screen.
I have reinstalled XP again, but the problem is still the same, even with this new version!!!
What could be the problem? Is it on BIOS?
Many thanks,

Do you get any hard drive activity? How long did you leave it run before giving up?0

Cricri,
25 minutes on average and no joy!
It boots up ok on safe mode, only happens on normal mode.Member 7 of 100 to 10k - £100 to £10k = £1490 -
that indicates a driver problems, safe mode does not load them
try unplugging ALL external items like printer etc and turning it on
then try removing graphics cards , sound cards etc from hardware manager then seeing if it loads (the drivers will not install until the boot is complete and the "new hardware detected" kicks inEx forum ambassador

Did you check the event log?
In safe mode, do Windows+R to get the run window, then enter "compmgmt.msc" (without quotes). There's the event log somewhere, look up for yellow and red. I can't be more accurate because I'm using a computer setup by administration rights Nazis.0
