Transferring money from a card to a bank account

Hi,

Does anyone out there know of a credit card apart from Virgin (already have this one and about to run out in september) that are willing to transfer money from the card to a current account, the reason for this is that I want to pay off an existing loan and put it onto a 0% credit card

Cheers
Dan

List on the stoozing website: http://www.stoozing.com/0fees.php

Those marked with a red box have the Super Balance Transfer (SBT) feature you're looking for.

Just looked at the list, and there is definitely a red dot next to the MBNA platinum plus card.

I believe all MBNA run cards have Super Balance Transfer facility
  • Please try not to deal with MBNA. It will come back to bite you on the !!!!.

There are many other much better credit card providers out there. I managed to get away from MBNA by the skin of my teeth and with an HUGE helping hand from my other half.

Yes the Virgin range of cards are administered by MBNA.

I have read quite a few posts from people not happy with MBNA, particularly with regard to increasing APRs on the standard variable rates.

However, my own experience with MBNA has been very good. They offer cards with high Credit Limits (often over £10k), they allow transfers direct to a Bank Account even if there is no debt, and the monthly payments are either £5 or £25 per month.

I know I'm disagreeing with others, but MBNA have been good for me
