I have had comments in the past - I know there was 1 job I didn't get years ago and also at least 2 parts in plays. I've seen threads on overweight women on other forums and there were some vicious comments (not MSE, although, thinking about it, in the MSE Arms I have) and so I think - that's what people really think. I guess though, people can be nasty behind a computer - there's a lot of bravado.

its not just weight though is it, people will always find a reason to be nasty be it you have a large nose, big boobs,buck teeth,even ginger hair,bollox to them.
your real friends will always love you for what you are and true friends will never ever make you feel crappy and worthless!!!

i feel slightly insecure around a certain person i know when shes giving it oooo got in my size 10's this morning what size are you wearing now, when she knew full well that id put on nearly 2 stone after my op and was feeling rather down and tearful at the time,so thats the sort of friends that are not true friends and its taken my op to realise that..........no offers of helping me hoover,shop etc etc making me want to say why don't you fook off if you have never got anything nice to say, but me being me comes home and crys:rolleyes:

They're obviously blind then - you're very pretty, with gorgeous eyes and lovely hair.

You just need to believe in yourself and let yourself be stunning.
