We need to buy everything, yes everything from spoons to settee to kettle to cleaning products, duvets, coffee table etc.
Any ideas of where we can buy most things very cheaply. it's only temporary (for about 3 months) as our 'normal' stuff will arrive back in the country form oz.
Thanks.

Have you tried Freecycle? No charge, and you can then donate the items back into the system.

Woolworths Worthit! range is something I discovered recently when I was looking for cheap pilowcases - a pair of white pillowcases for £1.67, equally cheap sheets/other bedding. Also bought a kettle for a fiver, there was also a toaster for a fiver too.
But yes, a general shout out on freecycle is a must to start with!2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -
I echo all other posts above and say try Freecycle first. Put a wanted ad on as well as responding to peoples offers. Once your stuff arrives here you can always recycle your finds again to someone in need.£2 savers club. No.90. Aim £500.0

If it's only for 3 months have you asked family and friends if you can borrow some stuff. You'd be surprised how many people have spare kettles, irons etc lying around the house.

The only trouble with Freecycle is that many (most?) groups have a rule that you can't post a "wanted" until you've posted at least one "offered" - which could be tricky in the OP's current situation!
Otherwise, yes, Freecycle all the way.Operation Get in Shape

Contact moderators on Freecycle if this is how your group works - could be worth a go? But definately see what offers are being made?:j Debt-Free-Wannabe! :jDeclutter/Ebay/Savings0

Try charity shops if you are not bothered about crockery etc matching. It will be quite cheap and you can always give it back when no longer needed.0

Don't forget freecycle in neighbouring towns too - you don't want to miss out (if you've got a car) just cause you're in onw town and not another a few miles away!0
