I think you`ve made the right decision. You can look at the market in a relaxed rather than a frightened mode.0

Without knowing more about your circumstances:-
Are you both in secure (ish) jobs. If you don't work but your partner does, would he find it easy to secure other employment in that area.
Because you are buying a 3 bed house, I am generalising a bit here, but assuming you do not have children or may have one. What if childcare was too expensive for two and you have to give up work. Could you afford the mortgage on rates at this level because they may rise?
Loads & loads of questions really, but I would say no, don't buy yet. Sorry.0 -
Goodness, I didn't read the end bit.
Good on you, best idea!!!!:beer:0 -
Oh and Nelly, surely Shell suits are not worn anymore.... I am sure you are wrong, I have not seen a shell suit for years.0

Clearly entering the market now is madness.
You've absolutely nothing to lose by not buying (you've got to be smoking crack to think prices will rise in the next year), but a huge amount to lose (read up to 50% of the purchase price judging by historic trend) if you do buy.0 -
Update: I slept better yeasterday now that we deceded to pull out!
