Have a look at WD Passport drives, Amazon usually have very good prices on these.

I'm looking at Formac mini at the moment.

Either the 250GB or the 320GB have near as dammit the same bang for buck.
Firewire and USB2. Bus powered.

I'm looking for something to keep a couple of laptop backups on and a photo library.

Dabs (LINK) seem to be keenest on price.

That's pretty good, I purchased a 200Gb (or was it 250?) about 6 months ago for £99 from Amazon.

USB/Firewire 320GB £103 (with free delivery over 99! this weekend).

Hey look, I'm not sure what kind of clothing you folks wear but I wear quite cheap but well tailored suits and most of these things are simply not going to slip into my pocket without leaving a nasty bulge.

The definition of portable may have changed whilst I was walking home from the organic juice bar.

Luggable springs to mind.
