You can get it all free anyway.
Such as AVG, Antivir, Avast, Spybot and the list goes on and on.
Normally the preloaded stuff is rubbish anyway, Such as Norton and Mcafee, which are too resource heavy.0 -
Not usually, depends on the offer, same as desktops.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

I prefer Avast but AVG does seem very popular these days but don't stop their!
Superantispyware, Threatfire, Comodo Boc clean, Win Patrol and Zonealarm firewall is the very least I have installed.0 -
Make sure that Norton is removed before installing the AVG. It could cause problems/conflicts having two lots of AV software in spite of the norton having expired.PenelopePitstop2008 wrote: »Thanks Millionaire I found the link to the AVG free download and I am downloading it onto desktop as Norton has expired.
I used this on 3 p.cs http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039
before installing Avast AV on them and there have been no problems.0
