Free Standing Kitchen - Any advice or recommendations?

Does anyone have any advice on the best place to buy free standing kitchen units?
My plan is to rip out the current 1970s units that we have inherited, put in a level floor and then just buy free standing units.
Installed an Ikea fitted kitchen before and my belief is that this alternative approach may be easier?
Any advice gratefully received.

There's a company called Samuel Scott which I saw at the Good Food Show. They're only very small but their stuff was beautiful and surprisingly reasonable considering that it's all handmade.
The website address link for them that's given through my link doesn't work - the website I used to have a link to wasn't that simple - it had a bit of a funny address but I would call them and ask them what their web address is and for them to send you some details.
Lovely stuff.
Ikea do a more modern style of freestanding kitchen and Habitat too.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
