mobile sat nav downloads

ive just bought a mobile nokia n70 with tomtom 5 installed (ebay bargain). I have a few questions re downloads/updates. How do I know when I have to update (does it tell me like a pc does?) where do i get these updates from?Also, I want to download west europe maps but I dont know where to start? i know they can be aquired free through links posted somewhere on the net, again i dont know where. and i quite fancy a celeb voice too lol..Can anyone help a novice? many thanks xmyx

Sounds like what you're doing is all highly illegal, assuming so you aren't gonna be connecting to the TomTom HQ to say you need downloads as that would be daft. Unless you've got an internet stream from your phone to TomTom it isnt going to tell you to update (I don't even know if thats possible).


But yeah its possible to find the maps on the net, but you need the software to activate the map which will usually come in the from of some sort of crack which could cause harm to your computer if you're not careful. But anyway all illegal and as a result can't really be discussed on here!

To download the maps you go to the tomtom website and enter the registration/activation details you got when you bought the software. If the software is legit, then ask the person you bought the phone off what the logins are so you can update it.

Chances are though its not a legit copy, so you will have to illegally find some cracked maps from the web, if you really want too.

voices are free from some places though so shouldn't be too hard to find.
