Abbey's eSaver Direct /eSaver - Which account opened?

The following is my original message but I have now tracked down the email they sent confirming the account was set up - and that does use the word "Direct". However I don't understand why they cannot name it as such online!
.............
Anyone else have an eSaver Direct account? Online is it described as eSaver or eSaver Direct?
In mid-April I completed the online application for an eSaver Direct. The final acknowledgement screen (I have the screenprint) has a heading of eSaver / eSaver Direct application and acknowledges my application for an eSaver account.
I've now received the cash card and various numbers to get me online access to the account. I've now logged on and on the screen it names the account as eSaver.
The eSaver Direct pays 6.5% and the eSaver pays 5.65% (increasing at £200K).
I have no intention of giving them even a pound if the account is not an eSaver Direct account.
Have they deliberately mis-categorised my new account?

I have just applied for the eSaver Direct and your are right, the form is VERY ambiguous. As I finished the application I did wonder if it was done deliberately.....
I did the application on the 21st and as it is now the 24th and I have not even had a acknowledgment email from the Abbey.
