Scottish Power Premier Plus Capped Price...

Hi all,
Hoping someone can help. My mum is currently with Scottish Power on the above price plan, but we're having some difficulty in finding a cheaper supplier as her price plan is never included on the comparison sites, meaning they estimate her bill as far lower than it is!
Anyone got any ideas of how to find out who's the cheapest?
Thanks in advance for your responses,
Nic

what version of capped price is it? is it ending the end of this month? or not until Nov/Oct time? If it is the later date there may not be a cheaper tariff at this time.
Is she dual fuel, and premier plus just means that the account is paid by direct debit.

Give them a ring and ask them how much she pays on each band per unit (also check how many units are included in each band as this will be different). They should also be able to give you an annual usage figure which should be accurate if you are providing meter readings every bill. You can then work out exactly what she is paying and compare properly on the comparison sites.
Don't do what I did and just put in the monthy DD fee. I recently did this and picked NPower - however when I worked it all out correctly, it turned out their costs were double what I am currently on. Needless to say I've cancelled that switchover!0
