Euro train fares

I am trying to book train tickets from London to La Rochelle in France for a few days in early May. I have so far been quoted £368 for two return tickets, far too much. Does anyone know of offers/discounts/vouchers etc that could bring this price down.

No - but the summer before last we flew to Dublin then from there to La Rochelle with Ryanair for £1 and then one euro, was great!0

Many thanks but I had already tried that site and the fare was just as expensive. It was however, £100 cheaper if the seats to Paris were booked seperately from the ones to La Rochelle. Very strange!!!www.seat61.com is the resource for European travel. Have a look there for advice.0
