Hi!
Thanks for all the information above!
I have just invested in one of the [glow=red,2,300]lights[/glow] from Boots
(extra points and in the sale!!)
It is the best thing I have bought for ages! Mr Kowalski and myself both feel better in the mornings...(me because I am awoken gently and Mr K because I am much nicer in the mornings!!!)
Would definately recommend...could do with a snooze funstion for weekends though!

hmmm ... i'm thinking about it. but would i get headaches from it? lol! i can't stand bright light, i get migraines in bright shops such as mcdonalds and asda. ten minutes in asda and my left eye starts twitching, building up to a full migraine. it doesn't happen when i wear react-to-light lenses. my son goes hyper under the same lights. not a good combination, him hyperactive and me with a headache, twitching eye and trying not to vomit lol!52% tight0

The fab thing about the lamp clock thingy fromBoots is that you can turn it down if it gets too [glow=red,2,300]bright![/glow]
That should mean no headaches/migraines/twitches!
Hope this helps...really would recommend it (so would Mr K!!!)

Hiya,
Looking at the Lumie light / clock thing on boots.com, it doesn't say it's been reduced. Can anyone tell me if £59.99 is the reduced price?
Cheers

Hello Mrs Thrift

Boots had a % discount about 10 days ago, if you are ordering at full price make sure you use the code for 500 extra points FHXG57 (from Boots Christmas catalogue available to all) Not sure if there are any better codes out there still in date ???
I am thinking I NEED one now.......

Hiya Mini

Thanks for that. It says it comes with 500 extra points anyway - will I get another 500 using the code?0 -
Yes :)

edited to say to use the code at the checkout where it asks for promotional code0 -
Brilliant, thank you! ;D0

I have the lumi clock and have used it for the past couple of years - though tend to put it away for summer. I have had SAD for a long time and this has greatly improved since I got this alarm clock. It also helps send me to sleep as well since it also fades out, I don't often see it get to complete darkness as i'm often asleep by that time!
The good thing is that they take a standard 100W bulb so cheap and easy to replace - I'm sure that a lower wattage bulb will wake you just as well but will not burn so bright so might ease any headaches you get.
Incidently I bought it as well and got points from Boots and then used the points for shampoos and toothpaste for the year! Which offset the cost of the lamp in the first place.
