Presume you will be planning to withdraw all your money when you move abroad? Am not sure if you can hold ISAs once you're resident abroad but no doubt somebody who knows for sure will be able to confirm this.
Any ISAs opened before becoming non-resident may remain open but no new money can be paid into them & no new ones can be opened. See here - section entitled 'Moving Abroad'.0 -
only about the 5th time i have said this... but thanks!
Still planning on going though have been for some time... i need to find someone i can sit down with so i can plan moving away.
I would plan on leaving all my money here and not touch it as i want to only have this money as a back up if it all goes to pot.... (i hope not though moving to another country is a big step).
Thanks
