Wii console with Wii Sports, Sonic Riders and WWE Smackdown for £179 INSTORE @ ASDA

All I can find on asda online is sony ps3 and psp, it appears only a very selected amount of stores have the offer. I rang my local Asda store and they told me they don't even sell the consoles but they did have a delivery of 15 wii fit this morning and have 4 left in store with first come first serve meaning cannot reserve any. But whats the point of getting the wii fit if I can't buy the console to play it on.

£179 seems a good price with 3 games.

yeh but thats if those games are games they sell - my local asda is a supercentre and it does not sell many games!

Just back from trading the 2 games @ Gamestation.
I had noted the trade prices from www.cex.co.uk, which they checked on their pc and got given total credit of £33 which included the extra £1 for beating cex, hence i was very pleased to hand over my shiny £2 coin for a new copy of Mario Kart + Wheel.

So a console, wii sports, & mario kart with wheel cost me £181...Result!

nice little offer though and if I do not see anything in the upcoming days I might go for this.

Thanks OP for posting this. We'd been thinking of getting a Wii for a bit. Managed to get on from the Bury store yesterday. Its great. Me and DS (age 5) were boxing at half seven this morning!!!

I went to my local Asda (Gloucester) thinking I'd have no chance. Found the console box, and then looked for the games (only vaguely remembering which ones they were!). Managed to find both, but saw no adverts anywhere in store. Went up to the counter and said that I had seen an advert for the offer but I wasn't sure if it was these games. The girl laughed and said "where did you find that, we were looking for it earlier!". She said they knew about the offer but didn't think they had it. Thankfully, she let me buy it and I'm a very happy bunny! I was going to get the deal posted before at Gamestation but ummed and ahhed and by the time I decided I'd missed out on Wii Play and Mario Kart being available. This is great though. Will exchange the Smackdown one and put it towards something else. Just got to find Wii Play from somewhere now. I tried to find the post on HUKD but couldn't find it as I wanted to thank the person on there that the OP cited.

Anyway, many thanks and it's always worth going and having a look and asking even if there's no mention of it in store.
