HSBC CC instant decision?

Hey,

Does anyone know if HSBC give instant decision on their credit cards?

I have a current and savings account with them already.

I believe they do. Not 100% sure though. There shouldn't be any problem if you're already banking with them.

Best bet for an instant decision would probably be to telephone them although I know you can get £20 cashback via Quidco

I don't bank with HSBC and I was given an instant decision - they made it clear they didn't want my custom straight away!!

I got an instant 'Yes' on-line, and was advised to take all my ID documents into my local HSBC which I did.

The Card and Pin arrived within 4 days and a good limit as well, and I dont bank with HSBC.

I was impressed with them, mind you that doesn't take much these days..........

Hey all

Just an update.

Did not get instant decision online (applied last saturday)

But got approval through post this morning. Need to sign forms and return.

No they didn't which was a bit annoying as I want to BT 2.5k but there is a section on the form to fill out to do a BT so hopefully they will do it all.

Take the forms and proof of ID to your local HSBC, you will get the card in a couple of days and they will tell you your credit limit............
