I want to buy a house!

your house looks lovely, but your 'breakfast bar' makes what looks like a small kitchen look tiny and cramped. consider getting rid.
your girlfriends house...
1) the pink and green combo has got to go. you're scaring people off from the word go. fireplace would look better in white gloss. doesnt matter whether its to your GF's taste or not - she's changing it to sell, not to live in for the rest of her life.
2) whats that thing in the second bedroom next to the rocking chair? looks like a washing machine/ tumble dryer... which makes the me think kitchen is even smaller than the picture suggests... which puts me off even more
3) garden looks dull. get new photos taken on a sunny day.
4) get yourself with an agent who uses rightmove
5) cant speak for pontyclun, but being a cardiff girl i would say that GFs house was steeply priced... tremorfa is not the best area of cardiff anyway, and the current slow down wont help you either.know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -
Holy crap! Excuse the swears but I'm just getting over the fact that I live on the same estate as you, hehe.
Can be brutally honest about why I don't like living here if you think it would help, but don't want to needlessly speak ill of it.0 -

the 2 green chairs really caught my eyes, because it emphasised on how small the kitchen is.
eache rooms looks very small actually but it think the pictures are not great (like not good angles) and does not help to make them look like a good size.
just my tuppence, good luck.0 -
Yeah.. We thought of leaving something for the new owners to paint :rotfl: I wish people would look past the paint and furniture though.the pink and green combo has got to go.
Its a tumble drier... The kitchen is great for a 2 bed 1930's semi. It just can't accomodate my tumble drier... We can pull it out soon as summer is coming and re-take the photo. Any buyer would get a washer/dryer.whats that thing in the second bedroom next to the rocking chair?
Would you ask what you actually want, or allow headroom for offers in this climate? We've offered 3% gifted deposit, which makes it £117k and may help a FTB, and would accept £117k without the 3%.0 -

With all due respect to citizens of ely .... even the buses stop going there on many late night runs and special nights (e.g. fireworks) because of its reputation.pavlovs_dog wrote: »i agree, but a lot of people cant.

While I've driven around there (and even walked) late at night/after dark, I'm assured there is a reputation.
In another area the other week a resident of there said to me "It's really nice, being able to walk about knowing you won't get challenged or beaten up. It's lovely and quiet in this part"0 -

same goes for tremorfa. good parts, and very bad parts. whilst i would be particular about which part of it i would live in, i would choose ely over tremorfa 9 times out of 10.know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -
